2023 Jean-Christophe Garnier 'La Roche' Chenin BlancJean Christophe Garniers La Roche comes from a small parcel of 70 year old Chenin Blanc vines just south of Savennires, in the village of Saint Lambert du Lattay. Farmed organically and biodynamically, the fruit is slowly pressed, fermented with native yeasts and aged for a year in old barrels, with no added sulphur. Golden and slightly hazy in the glass, it opens with iodine, crushed stone and lemon peel, followed by cut apple, beeswax and fresh
